The first golf course goes back to 1971, the year the Club was born, at the hands of architect Robert Trent Jones Sr, world famous for the natural-born grace with which he embedded competition courses into the natural environment.

Following with mastery the morphology of the Natural Park of La Mandria, it is characterized for a very innovative use of bunkers and water hazards, not to mention the provision of greens and hazards that can stimulate a more careful game strategy.
